Dr. Faisal Ahmad Khan is the Chief Executive Officer of the Balochistan Public Private Partnership Authority. Previously he has served as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Dean at BUITEMS University, Quetta. He received his MS and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech, USA. He is a dynamic team builder and sustainable institution maker. Dr. Faisal is a Fulbright fellow and British Council’s Momentum Award recipient. He has led teams of over a thousand members in attaining world-class recognitions. He has also served as pro-vice-chancellor and dean at BUITEMS University. He is also a member of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council on Digital Economy. Dr. Faisal is also the co-founder of the Quetta Literary Festival (QLF). Dr. Faisal has built a diverse network of collaborators in the international and national technology and startup ecosystem. His core competencies include ideation and innovative solution development in a developing economy.
Dr. Faisal is a Senior Member (SM) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA. With about two decades in leadership – innovation, aiming for world-class, and promoting teamwork and inclusivity have been the hallmarks of his career.
Besides professional undertakings, he is the founder of Quetta Going Green, a citizens’ movement for the promotion of environmental awareness in the city of Quetta. He is also the founder of Honesty Mart, an initiative to promote trust and honesty in society
